About Caregiver’s Best Friend

Caregiving is hard.

We don’t need to tell you that. We also don’t need to tell you that a nice hot bubble bath with that book you’ve been meaning to read—you know the one—will melt your stress away.

Because, well, that’s pretty obvious. More importantly, though, that book hasn’t been read and that bath hasn’t been taken for a reason. It’s called not having time.

You probably spend 30+ hours a week on caregiving (at least according to this AARP study). On top of a full time job, marriage, perhaps children and, you know, being a person.

That’s where we come in.

We’re here to be your caregiving best friend. To give you real, practical advice on how to save time, spend your money wisely, and stay sane, using technology already available to you. While we admit virtual reality is pretty cool, that’s not the kind of technology we’ll be talking about.

Instead, we’ll take deep dives into apps like Shipt and Takl, actually using the tech ourselves, so you can start automating grocery shopping and other everyday chores. And then you’ll have enough time to, maybe not take a bubble bath, but at least take an extra long, extra hot shower (just being realistic here).

So that’s what we do.

But who are we?

We are caregivers…

… tech enthusiasts, writers, moms, dads, daughters, sons, professionals, all dedicated to making the caregiving journey not only less stressful but actually enjoyable. When you don’t have to spend all your time completing chores, you’ll have more quality time to spend with your loved one (or to take that bubble bath we mentioned earlier).

That being said, if you like Caregiver’s Best Friend please consider donating.

We are dedicated to giving you fair and impartial information. That means we are currently not creating any sponsored content. But a blog costs money to run—including paying our writers a fair wage, paying for advertising to get our brand out there, paying for our beautiful Squarespace site and so on.
